Joyce Lindhorst, on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, went home to be with her Heavenly Father and husband Fred; her family and friends were by her side. She is survived by her two sons Kenneth and Douglas (Gina), and her grandchildren Zoie and Ryder. Her grandchildren were precious gifts from above that made life fun and interesting each day. She loved them dearly. She enjoyed reading, dancing, growing flowers, herbs, plants, and vegetables. She loved to be with family and friends playing cards, dominoes, and just talking and having a good time. She found the “funny” in most things, and just loved to laugh and be silly. She accepted Jesus at the age of 13, and her goal in life was to help someone each and every day; especially older people in need, just giving them a helping hand. She did the best she could while here on earth, and she will continue to look over us all from Heaven.
While Joyce loved plants and flowers, in lieu of sending plants and flowers she asks that you please just live a life accepting to God, be a true friend, be giving, be loving, be kind and understanding, and try to help someone every day. This is what she considered as living life to the fullest.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at First Baptist Church Merritt Island, 140 Magnolia Ave. Saturday April 27th at 10am with a Reception immediately following in the Magnolia Room.
