Juanita Ezell Baxley, 88, of Merritt Island, Florida went home to be with her Lord on Sunday April 13, 2014. Juanita was born on February 21, 1926 in Newberry, Florida to her parents William Berry Ezell and Candace Missouri Williams Ezell.

Juanita was a member of First Baptist Church of Cocoa; Order of Eastern Star; Gideon Auxillary; and on the Board of Directors of Derby Street Chapel.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, R. Stanley Baxley, Merritt Island, Florida; son Wayne S. Baxley, Sacramento, California; daughter Bonnie Hope Gonzalez, Sacramento, California; sisters Frances Keyes, Gainesville, Florida, Shelby Ezell, Clearwater, Florida; brother Ronald Ezell, Deland, Florida; sister Patricia Rowell, Shady Grove, Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours are 5:00-8:00pm Thursday April 17, 2014 at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 North Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida 32953. Services are 2:30pm Friday April 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Cocoa, 750 Brevard Avenue, Cocoa, Florida 32922. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Saturday April 19, 2014 at Lee Memorial Cemetery, Lee, FL.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Derby Street Chapel, P.O. Box 682, Cocoa, FL 32922.
