Lawrence "Larry" O'Hara Partridge

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before building a career in the space industry as an electrical technician. He took great pride in his work and in being part of the innovation and progress that defined the Space Coast community he called home.

The youngest of seven children, Larry grew up in Titusville Florida and attended St Theresa Catholic School, Titusville High School, and later graduated from Melbourne Central Catholic. Despite life’s many ups and downs, he held strong to his faith in God.

More than anything, Larry will be remembered for his personality. He was fun-loving, quick with a joke, and had a natural ability to make people laugh. He truly enjoyed life — whether he was fishing, spending time outdoors, enjoying good music, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Miami Dolphins, or rooting for Florida Gators football. What mattered most to him, though, was time with the people he loved. Family and friends were at the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent together.

He is survived by his daughters, Erin Dillon (Daniel Dillon) and Amber Posey (Randall Posey); his beloved grandchildren, Micah Dillon, Norah Dillon, Clara Dillon, Chloe Dillon, and Lily Posey; his siblings, Anne Hartmann (Craig Hartmann), Patricia Sieffert (Bill Sieffert), Steve Partridge (Gail Partridge), and Mary Dixon (Robert Dixon); and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Partridge; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Partridge; and his brothers, Mark Partridge and Richard Partridge.

Larry’s warmth, humor, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The memories he created with those he loved will live on forever.

A visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, located at 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953, on March 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Saviour Catholic School, 5301 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931, on March 3, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Following the funeral mass, all are invited to a luncheon reception to celebrate the life of Lawrence Partridge. Please join us for food, fellowship, and remembrance as we gather with family and friends to honor his memory.
