Dorothy Mayfield, 97, a retired U.S. Postmaster, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010. She was born in CO, and came to Brevard County in 1983 from CA, and was a member of the Eastern Star, and an honorary member of Alpha Nu ESA.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Kay (Pat) Patskoski; son, Dennis (Gay) Mayfield; four grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Booth, Mike (Nancy) Patskoski, Mark (Mary) Patskoski, and Martin Patskoski; and seven great-grandchildren, Becky, Bonnie, J.C., and Bob Booth, and Jason, Tyler, and Hannah Patskoski.
A visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 9:30 to 10:00 am, with the funeral service following at 10:00. A private interment will take place at Georgianna Cemetery.
