Lisa Michelle Burkholder-Bowker, 46, passed away Saturday November 19, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Lisa was born in Long Beach, California. She moved to Brevard County from Redondo Beach, California.

Lisa was a teacher at Cocoa High School. She was a cheerleader coach, reading coach and involved with many other activities at the school.

Lisa is survived by her mother Rebecca Braun and stepfather Charles Braun of Maryland; brothers Bryson Burkholder of North Carolina, Eric Burkholder of Idaho, Darren Braun “Best Bud” of Maryland, and Jason Braun of Florida; step sister Sonia Burkholder of Georgia; Aunts Sandy Dennis of California and Shelly Stein of California; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held 10:30AM Saturday December 3, 2011 at Church of Our Savior Catholic Church, 5301 N. Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, Florida 32931. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida.
