

Lucy was born in Huntington, W.V. on October 4, 1917 to Grover and Lena Robinson and moved to Apopka, FL. when she was six years old. She was a lifelong resident of Apopka until recently moving to Indialantic to spend her remaining years with her daughter.
Lucy was well known for her commitment to The First Baptist Church and the City of Apopka. At First Baptist Church she shared her faith as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and director of numerous pageants, choral presentations and dramas. She was proud to be an Apopkan. Working with the Chamber of Commerce and showcasing local talent in Foliage Revues were highlights for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond D. (Ray) Goolsby of Apopka; sisters, Mary Fly of Apopka and Alice Goolsby of Ormond Beach, FL; and brother, Leon (Bud) Robinson of Apopka.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Joy Reinecke (Husband- Paul) of Indialantic, FL, son; R. Dan Goolsby, Jr.(wife-Verna) of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren Tracy Willis of Powdersville, S.C., Dan Goolsby, III of Friendswood, TX, Kevin Reinecke of Palm Bay, FL and Paul D. Reinecke of Vero Beach, FL; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Garden east of Apopka at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Following the service there will be a celebration of Lucy's life at The First Baptist Church in Apopka.
