Margaret G Hendricks

Margaret G. Hendricks passed away September 9th, 2021, in Merritt Island, Florida at the age of 83. In her final days, she was surrounded by the warm love of her family. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband David, her daughters Julie Andersson and Pamela Newman, son-in-law’s Mark Andersson and Todd Newman, Grandchildren Megan Erbach (Jason Erbach), Lauren Andersson, Andrew Newman (Laura Newman), Katelyn Newman, Great granddaughter Genevieve Erbach and sisters Shirley Lorenze and Judy Collier. She is proceeded in death by her parents Archibald and Vivian Jamieson, brother Bill and sister Wanda June and brother-in-law Mark P. Hendricks.

Margaret served and cared for others. She was full of joy and love for those around her. She cherished her time with family by playing games, doing puzzles, shopping, watching movies and spent many hours just talking. Margaret was a committed and loving wife of 63 years, who took care of her home and enjoyed spending time working in the yard with her beautiful flowers. Above all, she was a selfless Christian woman who taught children’s Bible classes and led by example. She has been a dedicated student of God’s Word and is now home with Him to spend eternity in glory.

Arrangements:

On Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Rockledge Church of Christ (2390 S. Fiske Blvd; Rockledge, FL 32955; www.rockledgechurchofchrist.org) visitation with the family is at 10:30am, followed by a “Celebration of Life” Service at 11:00am.

Internment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens (5950 US-1; Rockledge, FL 32955) at 1pm. Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Merritt Island, FL is overseeing the arrangements.
