

Mary Fenstermaker, age 94 passed away on May 15, 2023 in Merritt Island, FL. She was born on October 24, 1928 in Bethlehem, PA as the youngest of 8 children to her parents Stephan and Anna Bogar. She graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA. Mary was a life-long member of St. John’s Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, PA. She married Serfy Camody in 1951 who passed away in 1962. In 1969 she married Charles R. Fenstermaker who passed away in 2004.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Gary (Sharon) Camody, Windsor Locks, CT; Bruce (Barbara) Camody, Merritt Island, FL; and her step-children, Gail Paul, Northampton, PA; Charles R. (Donna) Fenstermaker, Jr; Sandra (Eugene) Leonard, Red Hill, PA; William (Kathleen) Fenstermaker, Whitehall, PA; Barry (Linda) Fenstermaker, Whitehall, PA and close friend, Linda Fenstermaker, Allentown, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
After retiring from 40 years of service at Western Electric in Allentown, PA Mary and Charlie enjoyed many winters at the Villages of Seaport in Cape Canaveral, FL. Mary continued to be a ‘snowbird’ after Charlie passed away. Mary leaves many dear friends at the Villages of Seaport with whom she enjoyed many ‘Happy Hours’.
Mary had a love for traveling, gardening, and daily crossword puzzles. She was well known for her old world style Christmas baked goods recipes that were handed down from her mother.
A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held later in the year.
