Mary Pringle Lemons

Mary P. Lemons died January 18, 2025 after a brief illness. She is the spouse of Wallace L. Lemons. Mary was born on December 18, 1951 in St. Augustine, Florida. Mary was the second of four siblings of Milton E. Pringle, Sr., and Vera Pringle. Her oldest brother, Milton Eugene "Gene" Pringle, Jr., is with her in Heaven. Mary leaves behind her two younger sisters, Susan Leonard and Patricia Roberts.

Mary retired from Premier Cruise Lines and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed volunteering – she volunteered for the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign War, The Moose, Homeless American Vets and various Children’s Hospitals.

Mary had a great zest for life, and an amazing sense of humor – she also had a deep love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Wallace L. Lemons; and her son, David and wife Elizabeth of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and daughter, Kimberly and her husband Joseph of Cocoa, Florida; and grandchildren Joseph, Ryan, Clint, Sean, Wade and Alex; and two great grandchildren, Beth and Ryker.

The family would like to thank St. Francis Hospice and their caregivers for the care rendered to Mary during her final days.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 1st @ 2:00 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida. A private burial will take place and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the Veterans Organizations in Brevard County.
