

Mary H. Louder 78 (June 6, 1935–January 20, 2014), was born in Hollywood, FL, to Charles and Miriam Hopkins. Mary grew up in Ojus, FL, and went to Ojus Elementary School and Miami Edison High School. She married Raymond Davis and they had five children. Mary loved her children and did whatever she could to guide them through life. She lived in South Florida until she married Jerry Louder and they moved to Hickory, NC. She worked at Highland House Furniture until she retired. After the loss of her husband of 35 years, Mary moved from North Carolina to Central Florida to live with family. Mary was a great Southern cook. She loved camping and fishing, and traveled to the North Carolina seashore every year with family to vacation and fish. She loved, and had great knowledge of birds, and could identify a bird just by its song.
Mary is predeceased by her parents, husband, brother, sister, and son. She is survived by her son, Raymond Davis, and three daughters, Donna Swift (William Holzhauser), Debbie Molina (Frank Molina) and Jessie Davis (Robert Moore); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Charles Hopkins (Elizabeth Hopkins) and Daniel Hopkins (Patricia Hopkins); and nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family is having a private celebration of Mary’s life.
