Mary L, Maclean, passed away peacefully at home under the care of Vitas Hospice and her husband on June 17th. Mary was 85 when she passed. She fought a rare neurological disorder called Cortical Basil Degeneration for six years. She was born in Woodbury, NJ to parents Charlotte and James Lamb. Mary graduated from High School in Freehold NJ and attended Maryville College in Maryville TN before coming to Cocoa Beach in 1958. She worked in the dental office in Cocoa Beach for 29 years and after retiring she volunteered for Wuesthoff Hospice and the Brevard Museum for many years. She also was a member of the Polar Bear Swim Club in Cocoa Beach. She liked to cook and read when at home. During her retirement years she loved to travel with her husband, Don in their motor home in the US and to tour foreign countries. She also enjoyed spending summers in North Carolina. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched and was loved by all. She is survived by her husband Don of 34 years, her stepdaughter Bonnie Maclean, three step grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
