Pat Palmer, 71, of Merritt Island , went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2010. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Samuel G. Palmer. She is survived by her sons Steve Palmer of Merritt Island, David Palmer of Orlando; brothers Bill Whaley(Judy) of Merritt Island and Jim Whaley (Karin) of Sebastian; niece Traci; sister-in-law Lilly Wallace; nephews Ricky and Richard and niece Sabrina. Calling hours will be from Noon to 1pm Wednesday October 20, 2010 followed by a service at 1pm at Wylie-Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Poodle Rescue or the Police Benevolent Association.
