Patrick J. Lowney, Jr., 84, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Patrick lived in Hillside, NJ. Patrick has lived in Florida for 40 years. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He graduated from Seton Hall Univerisity with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and worked for ITT before retiring to enjoy time with his family and fishing. Patrick is a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patricia Lowney; three children: Regina and her husband, David, Paul and his wife, Theresa, and Edward and his wife Karen; four grandchildren: Kevin, Thomas, Lindsey, and Lauren; and one brother, Jim Lowney. of Toms River, NJ, and one sister, Elizabeth Conlon of Neponsit, NY.
A wake will be held Friday, December 18 from 3-7PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will follow service at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge.
