I was blessed to serve my first year of Awana with Penny the year before she got sick...what a great lady and servant of the Lord. I will miss her hugs and smile, but will see her in heaven! Thank you Lord for allowing us to know her! God bless her family that allowed her to serve and be with them and comfort them, knowing that we have what the world does not, an eternity that is assured by none other than the Creator and Saviour of the Universe!

Penny was a true lover of Christ. She showed His love to all with a beautifully sacrificial and heroic love, captivating the hearts of many. May we honor Penny by following her example and loving others in spirit and in Truth as Christ loves her and us all.

To the family of Penny Chambliss:
I only knew Penny through a working relationship. What I would like to share is my upmost respect for Penny. Penny was very good at her job from my perspective. She challenged my company as a supplier but was able to do it with such professionalism. This is hard to explain but what Penny was so good at was making my company feel valuable even though I knew she would spread the work out amongst many contract manufacturers. I think her honesty and ability to communicate was one of her many valuable qualities. In my business, if we make a mistake many customers react so harshly but Penny offered a comforting understanding. Penny offered a true sense of partnership which is rare in my industry anymore. Penny was an absolutely wonderful person to work with. I can only imagine how wonderful she was in her personal life with her family and friends. Penny and I had a wonderful working relationship and we only met physically three times in business meetings over a 10 year business relationship. With phone calls and emails, we were almost in daily contact for many years. I have and always will miss Penny. I think sometimes our spouses and family really don't know how we are viewed, liked, appreciated and so on in our work lives by our fellow employees and their business network. I hope this note finds her loved ones and they will know how wonderful Penny was in her professional life.
Sincerely,
