Richard Alan Price

Rick is survived by his wife, Rachael Winston Price, sister, Karen and husband Stephen Cody, Oklahoma, and brother Ronald and Wendy Price, Maryland and preceded in death by his parents, Meredith L. (Pete) Price and Josephine A. (Dody) Price.

Rick was one of those rare people who truly had the biggest heart. He loved deeply, laughed often, and had a funny personality that could light up a room. He had a way of making people smile, making ordinary moments fun, and reminding everyone around him not to take life too seriously.

For more than eight years, Rick shared his life with his beloved wife, Rachael. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and a constant desire to have fun. They enjoyed making memories, trying new things, laughing together, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Their relationship was a true partnership, and their love for one another was evident in the way they embraced life side by side. Rick and Rachael never needed a special occasion to have a good time—they knew how to turn everyday moments into memories.

Rick spent most of his career working at Kennedy Space Center with NASA in Florida, where he built a career and a life he could be proud of. His years at Kennedy Space Center were an important part of his life and a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment. But for Rick, work was never just about the job—it was about the people.

Rick was genuinely loved by the people he worked with. His coworkers knew they could count on him, but they also knew that having Rick around made even the hardest days better. He brought his unmistakable sense of humor, his generous heart, and his ability to make people laugh into everything he did. He was the kind of coworker everyone wanted to have—the person you hoped would be on your team, the person you looked forward to seeing when you walked through the door, and the person who could turn an ordinary workday into one filled with laughter. His presence left an impression that lasted long after the workday ended.

His legacy at Kennedy Space Center lives on in the people who knew him, the stories they share, the laughter they remember, and the countless lives he made a little brighter simply by being there.

When Rick wasn't working, he was happiest doing the things he loved. He adored his dog, Sammy, who was a cherished companion and an important part of his life. He loved getting on his motorcycle and heading out for a ride, enjoying the freedom of the open road and the adventure that came with it. Most of all, he was a devoted Oklahoma Sooners football fan, always ready to cheer on his team.

Rick will be remembered for his enormous heart, his humor, his love of adventure, his devotion to Rachael, his beloved dog, his motorcycle rides, and his unwavering ability to find the fun in life. He leaves behind not only the people who loved him, but countless memories that will continue to bring smiles and laughter long after he is gone.

He will be missed beyond words, but his laughter, his love, and his zest for life will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
