Romona Page Stinson

She attended and graduated from the Historic College High at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In 1952, Romona married John M. Stinson. They were married for 73 years and had three children. In 1963 the family moved to Florida’s Space Coast. Romona and Johnny both worked for Brevard County Schools. Romona received a degree in nursing and practiced at Wuesthoff Hospital and with hospice programs in Brevard County, Florida. Romona also taught in the children’s ministry at First Baptist Church Merritt Island, Florida.

Romona is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty Puckett, her brother, Oscar Page, and her son, John Stinson Jr.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Lynne Mitchell (Stephen), her son, Blake, her grandsons, Chad Mitchell and Caleb Stinson (Bailey), her granddaughter, Mandy-Faith Madigan (Joe), a great grandson, Charlie Stinson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Romona was loved and will be missed.
