She was a strong, independent, single mother who above all put her children first. She taught her children first hand that just because you come from nothing doesn’t mean you have to be nothing. Sharon worked her way up to the top of her field, eventually becoming an independent accounting consultant that was well sought after and respected. She had learned a good work-life balance and was enjoying the world more and working less. She had recently witnessed the birth of her grandson and patched severed ties with family to become truly filled with happiness and at peace with the world.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her children Derek and Teresa, her daughter in law, Deanna, her brother Dave and her great nephews Johnathan and Justin. She was a beloved mimi to her grandchildren Zeke, Dameon, Stella and her newest edition Dylan. She had so much family that she picked up along the years from lifelong friends, her children’s friends and work colleagues. She touched so many lives that everyone cannot be named personally but you know who you are and that she truly loved all of you.
Sharon will be cremated as stated in her wishes. She will have a Celebration of life at a time and location to be specified at a later date. Her final wishes are to “take her ashes somewhere nice and spread them to the wind – remember her life – remember the good times and have no regrets in her passing.”
