Sidney was a retired Cocoa Police Officer.
He was a member of Clearlake First Baptist Church.
Sidney was preceded in death by his father Walter B. Pleasant, Sr.; mother Sana Pleasant; brothers Walter, William and Jack; sister Ruby.
He is survived by his wife Velma Sheffield Pleasant; sons Sidney Pleasant II and John Pleasant; daughter-in-law Donna Pleasant; granddaughter Sydney Pleasant.
Services will be held 2PM Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton, TN.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Clearlake First Baptist Church in memory of Sidney.
