Velma Louise Pleasant, 76 of Cocoa, Florida went to join her husband with her Lord on October 3, 2016. She was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee to John and Maude Sheffield. She preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-three years Sidney Pleasant. Survivors include her children, Sidney Pleasant II and John C. Pleasant (Donna); granddaughter, Sydney Pleasant; brother, Ken Sheffield (Cathy); numerous relatives.
