Virginia moved to Florida from Tennessee with her parents and sister when she was a small child. They lived for a short time in Tampa before settling permanently in Orlando.
She worked for the U.S. Civil Service as a secretary during WWII. Initially she was stationed in Alaska and Hawaii selling war bonds. Later she worked in Japan and Germany during the post-war reconstruction. After the war she worked at the newly developing space center in Cape Canaveral.
It was here she met W.J. Eberwein. They then married and had four children. She was a life-long Seventh-day Adventist and vegetarian. She loved the beach, travelling, and her family.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Nell and W.P. Davis, and her sister Dorothy; as well as by her husband William Eberwein.
She is survived by her four children -- William, Elizabeth, Wallace, and Rosemary; by five grandchildren -- Nikki Johnson, Roy Wyatt III, William Folcarelli, John Eberwein, and Jada Crofut; and by one great-grandchild -- Hailey Wyatt.
A graveside service was held on 4/25/19. She was interred in Georgiana Cemetery of Merritt Island beside her husband.
