William H. Harding, born in Lexington, KY on July 7, 1929, died Oc tober 29, 2011. Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1954 with a BS in business. Worked for Burlington Industries in High Point, NC before moving to Merritt Island, FL in 1963 where he started Art and Engineering supply, Inc. He was an active member of the Rotary Club where he served as president, assist ant District Govenor, and District Secretary. He served in the US Airforce during the Korean war. He was also the photographer for special occasions, a job he really enjoyed. He was a charter member of the Merritt Island Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon K. Harding and his brother, Donnan Harding.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia S. Harding; sons, William S. Harding and Steven C. Harding; a sister, Nancy H. Cassis of Louisville, KY.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm followed by funeral service at 7 pm at Wylie Baxley Merritt Island Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Lexing ton, KY
