

Passed peacefully in her home in Avondale, Arizona, surrounded by her children on December 15, 2025.
Born November 12, 1934, in Prescott, Arizona. She was the eldest of thirteen children.
She graduated from Prescott High School and worked in a local bakery where she found her love for baking. In 1960, she married Robert Alvarado and moved to Southern California, where they established roots and raised their five children. In 1979, she returned to Arizona with her husband and children.
She was a retired banker of over 25 years. After retirement she went to work for the Mesa public schools in Food and Nutrition until retiring in 2006.
A faithful and devout Catholic, Homemaker, Wife, Mother & Nani. She loved sharing her knowledge of the Catholic Church, enjoyed baking, supporting and caring for her family and giving back to her community in many ways from religious education, school PTA, walking for the March of Dimes and assisting at her children’s sporting events. She was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters.
If we ever needed religious advice or questions about religion she was the go to person in our family.
She is survived by her children Andrew, Mary Anne, Alan, Phillip and daughter-in-law Julie (Daniel), eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, grandson Keegan, son Daniel, son-in-law Frankie, her parents and five siblings.
We will miss our Queens inspirational words “I’M JUST SAYING”, “BE SAFE” and “I LOVE YOU MORE”.
