Allen Paul Bierwagen, son of Anna Marie and Melvin James “Jim” Bierwagen, passed away November 7th, 2021, in Mesa, Arizona after battling Covid for 5 weeks. Allen was 55 years old, born April 20,1966 in Great Falls, Montana. At the age of 3 the family moved to Arizona where he spent the remainder of his childhood, graduated from Mesa High School, and married Patricia Moore Bierwagen. Together, Patricia and Allen quickly welcomed their two children to their family and raised them in their hometown of Mesa.
Allen made friends everywhere he went. He loved to connect with people and his career in customer service was evidence of that love. He enjoyed getting to know customers and making their day a little better. You could always hear Allen long before you could see him. He was always the loudest in the room, and his laugh was even louder. He kept his childhood friendships throughout his life, remaining as close as brothers with his best friend, Karl. He gave his love freely and would do anything for friends and family. He was always ready to help others and was frequently the guy that stopped to help a stranger.
Allen is preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 2019. He is survived by his children, Amy and Robert Bierwagen; his siblings Jerome Bierwagen (Catherine) and Linda Bierwagen; and his best friend and honorary brother Karl Perry. His loss will be felt by so many, including multiple lifelong friends as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services for Allen will be held at Melcher’s Chapel of Roses, 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZ 85204, on November 20, 2021. Rosary at 10:30 am, viewing at 11:00 am, and service at 12:00 pm.
