Alma Marie Bumpas

(Alma) Marie Bumpas, a native of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 23rd, 2017 in Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Young and Lulu Marriott, four siblings and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Paul, of 66 years, brother Gene, and six children: Kent, Kay(Greg), Karla(Mitch), Kerry(Susie), Karolette(Ray) and Kalia(Norm), six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, close family friend Bob, plus many furry grandkids. Marie and Paul moved to Arizona in 1959. She was a stay-at-home mother until her last child was in junior high and then joined the office staff at Apache Junction High School where she worked for twenty years until her retirement. Marie was a member of the Xi Beta Lambda chapter of Beta Sigma Phi for 41 years. She reached their highest level and received her Torch Bearer degree in April 2016. Memorial services will be held 2:00PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at Boulder Mountain Community Church; 9390 E McLellan Rd; Mesa AZ 85207.
