Ann H. Usher of Mesa, AZ passed away January 12, 2019 at the age of 80. She was born July 14, 1938 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Leo and Lillian [Paden] Homan. Ann graduated from Oxford Junction High School in Iowa in 1955. During her high school years, she had many interests and was very talented. She participated in singing, dancing and acting, and was a member of the band, playing saxophone and clarinet. She was also All-Star Forward and Guard on the basketball team; this is where she met Merlyn Usher, who was on the opposing team. The two fell in love and were later married on June 19, 1960, started their life and family together and raised their two children, Jeff and Denise. In her later years, Ann enjoyed traveling, golfing, puzzles, playing bridge and various other card games. She was also known to mentor many people throughout her life, and changed a lot of others’ lives while working through Amway. What meant most to Ann and what she was most proud of was her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lillian, her sisters, Pat, Jean and Susan; brothers, Joe and Ed and her loving husband Merlyn. Ann is survived by her son, Jeff (Dana) Usher; daughter, Denise (Joel) Malmanger; grandchildren, Magdalena, Macy, Christopher, Jaime and Lindsey; her sister Barb (Jim) John and brothers, Nicky (Anna) Homan and Denny (Maxine) Homan
