June 1, 1932 – June 6, 2019
Anthony Dardini, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona. To family and friends who knew him best, Anthony will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was born on June 1, 1932 in Aramo, Italy and the son of Alberto and Fermina Dardini. Anthony grew up in Italy till he was 5, when the family moved to Detroit, Michigan.
Anthony was raised with one sibling, his sister, Renata. Anthony was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his sister. He and his sister experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Anthony enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. Some of his best friends were George Cappocia and John Oddo.
Empathic and loyal, Anthony was committed to making his new family happy.
Anthony worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Anthony was blessed with three children, two sons, Tom and Steve and one daughter, Sue. Another blessing for Anthony was the gift of six grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic, Spencer, Angela, Samantha and Ryan and one great granddaughter Harper Taranto.
Fortunately, Anthony enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Anthony worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was as a computer specialist where he was employed with IBM for 33 years. Anthony always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Anthony served in the Army. Through his hard work, he achieved the rank of Sergeant in Engineering. His fellow soldiers viewed him as a brother in arms and knew that he was as much a part of their family as their loved ones back home.
Anthony passed away on June 6, 2019 after suffering from a stroke. He is survived by his children Tom, Sue and Steve; his grandchildren Anthony (Kristin) Taranto, Dominic (Krystal) Taranto, Spencer Taranto, Angela Dardini, Samantha Dardini and Ryan Yoha and 1 great granddaughter Harper Taranto. William and Tony Dardini
June 21, 2019
Steve, Sue and Tom,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. Our Father was William Dardini, Tony's first cousin. He always spoke fondly of him and what it was like for them - growing up as Italian-Americans. Please take comfort in knowing that they are all reunited and most likely admiring how handsome they look :)
In our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Susan, Tom, and Steve, Kay and I are sorry for your loss. Connie and Tony were two of our very best friends. We will miss them both. I tried to call Tony several times since Christmas but was not successful, probably the wrong number. We are sorry that we could not attend Tony's services, I don't drive on the interstate any more.
God bless you all and your families.
Kay and Joe Luciani
