Father on May 22, 2022. He was born October 9, 1928, in Seward, Nebraska, the son of the late Arthur Brandt and Erna Marie (Pliefke) Brandt living on a farm near Surprise, Nebraska.
He was baptised October 21, 1928 by Rev. Horlamus at St. John's WELS Lutheran Church near Surprise, Nebraska. He was confirmed at St. Paul's WELS Lutheran Church near Gresham, Nebraska in 1940 when he was in the eighth grade.
He was united in marriage on June 27, 1952, in Lodi, California, to Barbara Ann Brommer. This union resulted in one daughter, Janet Marie Webb, and one son, David Arthur Brandt.
