Arthur Henry Kuhel

Arthur was born on November 21,1930, in Chicago, Illinois to Ladislaw and Anna. He graduated from Bowen High School where he played baseball. On November 5, 1955, he married Margaret Gibbs. He worked for Nazdar for 15 years in Chicago, Illinois and EECO for 20 years in Phoenix, Arizona. Also, Arthur enjoyed his 25 years of retirement.

Arthur loved sports. He was a season ticket holder for many years of the Arizona Cardinals and enjoyed to do a little tailgating. Also, he loved baseball, especially the White Sox and D-Backs, and enjoyed watching the Suns.

Arthur was a Korean War Veteran, members of: Korean War Veterans Association, Slovene National Benefit Society, Bowen High School Alumni Association, Knights of Columbus, and VFW. Also, he had the opportunity to go on Veterans Honor Flight to Washington D.C.

Arthur is survived by his daughter Karen and four sons: William, Paul, Glenn, and Douglas; eight grandchildren: Johnathan, Matthew, Marleena, Madeline, Michael, Grace, Rebecca, and Katherine. Arthur was predeceased by his wife, Margaret and his sister, Joanne.

A Rosary / Visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona. A Funeral Mass will occur Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3201 South Evergreen Road, Tempe, Arizona. A Graveside Committal will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 East Baseline Road, Mesa, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Arthur's honor and memory may be made to the Resurrection Catholic Church.
