Arthur “Artie” C. Pieper, born April 9, 1934 in Bayside, NY to Gustoff and Martha [Vontun] Pieper, passed away on November 17, 2013 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 79. Artie worked for many years in the dairy business, ultimately becoming Vice President of Dellwood Dairy. He was a devoted family man and was very spiritual and faithful to the Lutheran church. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, landscaping and travel with his "Glo-lite". Artie loved the outdoors and nature and had a special love for animals. But nothing brought Artie more joy than spending time with his family. Artie met Gloria, his beloved wife, 40 years ago in Syosset, NY. Artie is survived by his loving wife Gloria, son Kenneth, brothers August and Robert, step-children Chris, Cindy and Mitch, cousin Bob Pieper, seven grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a special man who will be missed by many.
