My most cherished memories of my cousin, Beverly are at family gatherings. On Christmas Eve, we (all of the children of Grandma Paonessa and their families) would always gather at Grandma Paonessa's house. We would be dressed up in our holiday finest and play with our cousins until dinner was ready. It was a really enjoyable time and everyone was so happy. The house was filled with laughter and fun.

I am sorry to hear of Beverly's passing and I pray Gods comfort for all who are mourning her loss.

I, Mary Ellen Martiak , my spouse and my father (Thomas J. Martiak) had the honor to reunite at a
family gathering with Beverly and her husband just a few years ago. With the love of family and God,
all five first cousins were united, Karen, Evelyn, Beverly, Bobby and Kevin, this blessing reunion
included my two aunts, Aunt Aggie and Aunt Beanie as well as other cousins and their spouses.
So appreciated and blessed to have this family, this memory is always in my heart.

I fondly remember happy times at family celebrations when we cousins (Beverly, Evelyn, Diane, Paul, Darlene, Teresa and I) sat at the kids table for dinner. At Christmas, we would play with our new toys in the stairwell of Grandma & Grandpa's apartment over Paonessa's Tavern in Newburgh. Although it is unfortunate that life steered us in different directions and we did not stay in touch, I am blessed to have those early, cherished memories of my beloved cousin Beverly.

With my love and sincerest sympathy for your loss,

Sandy Paonessa
