Billy H Catron

Billy H. Catron, 74, of Mesa, Arizona, entered life eternal on June 4, 2014, with loved ones by his side. He was born on August 6, 1939 in Cartwright, Kentucky, to Frank Ballenger and Ella Mabel (Hurst) Catron.

Billy Graduated from Union City High School, Union City, Indiana in 1957. He then went on to attend Indiana University. Billy worked as a vice president and regional controller for APAC, a division of Ashland Oil, until he retired in 2003. On February 14, 1996, he married Connie L. Jensen Catron MD.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Mark Brady Catron; sisters, Whita Catron and Juanita Adams; and brother, David B Catron.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Connie; and his four beautiful children, Amanda Marie (Andy) Atkins of Tupelo, MS, Beth Ann Catron of Tomball, TX, Jennifer Joyce (Jeff) Eshlemen of Tomball, TX and Billy Vernon (Rene’) Catron of Houston TX; and twelve wonderful grandchildren, Amber and Madison Atkins, Evan, Ellie Ann and Emily Swonke, Morgan, Grace, Gavin and Joshua Eshleman, and Anna, Melissa and Holly Catron.

Billy was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Hoosier fan through and through. He also enjoyed golf and spending time with his dog, Patches. Billy’s charming personality and sense of humor will be missed by all who had the pleasure laughing with him.
