Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, Blaine Craig Mackintosh passed away on January 19, 2013 while at work in Omaha, Nebraska. Born to Susan (Maw) and Michael Mackintosh on October 28, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Blaine grew up in Sandy, Utah, and had one younger brother, Christopher Mackintosh. He graduated from Alta High School and Salt Lake Community College. Blaine married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Tammy Hansen Mackintosh on January 11, 1992. They recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. He worked as a flight instructor as well as flying air ambulance and corporate jets before obtaining his dream job with Southwest Airlines. He was getting ready to celebrate his 10 year anniversary with them this year. Blaine’s pride and joys were his sons, Taylor (age 16) and Connor (age 11). His face would light up when asked about his family. They were the most important thing to him and he loved spending time with them. He had a passion for working on cars, first with his dad when he was younger, and later with his son, Taylor. He belonged to the All Gens Camaro Club and had fun working on his Camaro with his son, Taylor. He loved family dinners with his parents, and vacations to Lake Powell. Whatever he chose to do, he did so with passion and drive. He is survived by his wife Tammy; his sons Taylor and Connor; his brother Chris; his parents Mike and Susan as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 12:30 PM with a Visitation from 11:00 – 12:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 19730 E. Ocotillo, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
