Brian Craft, cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away on August 23, 2013. He will be missed dearly by all, but especially his parents, Raymond and Cordelia “Cory” Craft; his sister, Christie Craft; his grandfather, Raymond A. Craft; his aunts Sherry Beresh, Corinne Clifton and Marta Malone; his cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Dominick Berardi; his grandmother, Lisa A. Craft; and his grandmother, June Collins Craft. Brian was born November 9, 1976, in Sacramento, California. Brian attended Kyrene del Cielo Elementary School, Pueblo Middle School and graduated from Corona del Sol high school in Tempe in 1995. Brian proudly served our country as a United States Marine from 1998 to 2002, earning the rank of corporal. Following an honorable discharge, he earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Arizona State University in 2008 – an accomplishment for which he was enormously proud. He shared his passion for mathematics as a private tutor. Brian loved learning about science and dreamed of one day following in his father’s footsteps as an engineer. Brian was an avid movie buff and had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his beloved dog Rosie and cat Taco. He will be remembered always for his keen intellect, sharp wit and sense of humor, intense curiosity, compassion for animals and deep love of family. Thoughts and Prayers to the Craft family, I graduated with Brian from Corona and I had him in at least 2-3 classes in all 4 years. He was such a character and free-spirit,I had always looked forward to what shenanigans he was gonna bring to class. The world lost such a great guy! Rest in Peace Brian.
