

Bruce L. Nightengale was born in Ada, MN on May 27, 1946 to Albert “Bud” and Oranona “Nona” (Fetting) Nightengale. He was baptized Lutheran and was the youngest of 3 children. Despite living with PLS, he passed away on May 31, 2018 from natural causes.
He attended high school in Ada and after his service in the US Air Force, he received his diploma from Moorhead Area Technical Institute. He spent his entire career in sales. He lived in Moorhead, MN and Fargo, ND.
He married Barbara Lee and they had a son Andrew (Andy). The marriage ended in divorce. He later married Teresa Denis. They lived in Fargo before relocating to Las Vegas, NV, then to Richland, WA. The marriage ended in divorce. Bruce retired and moved to the Phoenix, AZ area where he lived until his death.
While Bruce had many interests, his passion was all things baseball including; playing, collecting signed baseballs and cards, going to the ballpark and, of course, rooting from the couch. He was also an avid coin collector.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Nightengale and sister, Sharon Peppel. He is survived by his son Andy (Jenna Helms) Nightengale; step-son Jason (Linda) Denis; nieces and nephews Tim (Debbie) Pepple, Cathy Peppel (Ted) Haskins, and Bill (Rhonda) Peppel, Tom Nightengale, Cindi Nightengale, and Joel Nightengale; and five grand-nieces and nephews.
