

Cache Clyde McCaughey, 51, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away in the early morning of February 6th, 2015. Cache was born on May 17th, 1963 in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up actively playing outside with his cousins and sisters on the Alaskan frontier until moving to Washington at the age of nine. On July 16th, 1988 he married Jenelle Fischlin in Washington. The couple moved to Arizona in 1990, settling in Mesa, and starting a family. They were blessed with three beautiful children; daughters Courtney Laine, 24, Cailyn Marie, 23, and son Cache Cade, 18. Cache loved his children unconditionally as they were his proudest accomplishment.
Cache began work at Atlas Logistics in 1991. Starting out on the floor as a warehouseman, Cache worked his way up to Assistant General Manager in 2009. Cache thrived and excelled at seeing to the needs of the Kroger Co,. his customer, while balancing the individual dignity of his employees. He was an inspirational leader for his management team.
Cache spent his life enjoying family, friends, and outdoor sports. He was a sports enthusiast and a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan. His smile, humor, and blue eyes lit up a room and will be missed by all. Cache is survived by his wife of 26 years, daughters Courtney and Cailyn, son Cache, parents Clyde McCaughey and Leslie Christian, sisters Cody Johanneck McCaughey and Cully Taggart, brother Corde McCaughey, grandmother Shirley Mauldin, and many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family. Cache was a loving father, husband, son, and friend to all. Services will be held Saturday February 14th 2014 at 11:00am at Broadway Christian Church 7335 E Broadway Road Mesa, AZ 85208 with a reception immediately following.
