81, passed away February 28, 2013. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 17, 1931 to Evelyn and Edward Hoffman. Carol was a graduate of James F. Rhodes High School class of 1949. She married Thomas in 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio. Carol and her family moved to Arizona in 1978 where she worked as a sales clerk at Mervyns for 16 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Mesa. Carol will be remembered for her love of life, her many friendships, her love of all animals and for her love for her family. Her grandchildren will remember the special love that their "Nana" held for them. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, her children Scott, Jill and Mark and her grandchildren Paul, Devan, Zoey, and Amy. She is so loved and will be missed by many. Donations can be made to the Arizona Humane Society or ASPCA which were two of Carol's favorite charities.
