Carol Lynn Wood

Carol Lynn Wood, age 76, of Florence, AZ passed away on October 7, 2023. Carol was born in Eldorado, KS on May 17, 1947 to Edwin and Irene Humphries. She had a successful career as a banking executive in Yuba City, CA where she was respected and loved by friends and coworkers. Carol married Walter Wood on May 26, 1985 in Rough And Ready, CA. After retiring, Carol and Walt moved to Florence, AZ where she became active in supervising elections and shared her time with many wonderful friends whom she met throughout her community. In her spare time, she loved to paint and craft with beads. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends every week. Carol was so loving and generous and would help family and friends in their time of need. She loved the holidays and always went big with everything. She will be sorely missed.

Carol is survived by her loving husband Walter Wood, her loving children, Paul and Mark Swanson and her daughter, Andrea Wood. She adored her 7 grandchildren: Kayla, Jason, Tyler, Macie, Adam, Karlee, and Vera. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren, LillyAnn and Paisley. There will a be a private ceremony to spread her ashes at Canyon Lake, fulfilling Carol's final wishes.
