Carolyn Frances Orvis, 78, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on October 31, 2020. She was born on March 16, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to James & Mabel Hollingsworth. Carolyn graduated from Elgin Community College & Waubonsee Community College with AAS and AA degrees. She married Floyd Orvis on June 28, 1982. Carolyn worked as a secretary for Chicago Rawhide. She was a member of Victory Lutheran Church in Mesa. She had a passion for singing, cooking, and sewing. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Orvis; children, Dawn Taylor, George Vukovich and Jarrod Vukovich; grandchildren, Angela Taylor, William Taylor and Cody James Vukovich, as well as her siblings, Jean Dubois, Annette Lind and Sandra Teeters. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joni Gomberg & her great grandson, AJ Carrington.
