Cathleen Ann-Marie Matlosz

Cathleen Ann-Marie Matlosz, born on May 21st 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to John and Mary (Wagenhoffer) Green, passed away on July 5th 2025 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 86. She went out with a bang following the 4th of July fireworks!

Cathleen had a wonderful life and enjoyed many different things. She was a Barbizon Model (with Barbizon on 5th Ave in New York City.) She met the love of her life, Edmond Matlosz, on a blind date New Years Eve 1959 and they were married a few short months later on July 16th 1960. Prior to moving to Arizona, Cathleen lived in New Jersey and New Mexico. She was a retail merchandiser before retiring. In her later years, Cathleen enjoyed spending time with her church groups, including the Ladies Guild and the Prayer Shawl Makers. She always put others needs before her own. Cathleen was also an avid miniature hobbyist and loved to put together fancy doll houses and then fill them with all her tiny miniature trinkets. She also loved playing bingo at the casino with friends and family. Always up for an adventure, she found joy and happiness in everything she did. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Being a wife and mother was her ultimate, greatest joy.

Cathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Matlosz, her parents, and her sister Sharon Stephenson. Cathleen is survived by her daughter Suzanne Matlosz, sons Edmond (Candace)Matlosz, Jr. and John Matlosz as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
