

Cesar was born April 23,1935 in New York City to Santiago and Belen Garcia. An older sister, Lydia, preceded him in death in 1934. Raised in The Bronx, NY and as a teenager, Humacao, Puerto Rico. Cesar graduated from James Monroe High School in The Bronx in 1953.
Cesar married his Jr High sweetheart, Emma Rosa, in 1956 and soon after served in the Army and National Guard. They raised four sons on Long Island, NY and in 1978 moved his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he was employed as a mechanical draftsman for Motorola Inc. until he retired in 1998. During that time, Cesar became a faithful servant of the Lord and was actively involved in various ministries in his church including officiating the marriages of hundreds of couples.
Cesar's love for family and old time Hollywood westerns was well known to everyone who knew him. He is survived by Emma, his wife of 68 years, his sister, Maria, of New Jersey, four sons, Cesar Jr, David (Shelli), Michael (Teresa), and Edward (Lori), nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and scores of friends and extended family.
A memorial service for Cesar will be held Sunday, September 29th, 5:00 p.m. at Fountain of Life Christian Fellowship, 6056 E Baseline Rd, Ste 137 Mesa, AZ 85208. Refreshments will follow.
