He was born March 18, 1945 in Rochester, NY to Fred and Reva Gerken.
Chuck attended Madison High School graduating with the class of 1963.
In 1965 Chuck met the love of his life, Nancy Napier, when she came into his bowling supply store to purchase a bowling ball.
They were married at St. Cecilia’s Church in Rochester and were blessed with two sons: Scott and Steve.
In 1977 Chuck purchased Pleasure Lanes in Hilton, NY where he was noted for his Uncle Chuck’s Bowling Tournament.
Chuck was a golfer and avid bowler; a wonderful family man who his sons found to be a great mentor and role model. He was well-known for his great sense of humor; loved animals and enjoyed working in his yard.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Nancy Gerken; his sons: Scott (Heidi Christ) and Steve (Melissa); four grandchildren, who he cherished: Jonathan, Sarah, Ryan and Chloe’.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Reva, his sister Delores, his brothers, Dick and Ken.
