He was born December 14,1945 in Prestonsburg, KY. He graduated from Ohio State University in marketing, retired after a successful career in Acoustical Sales and Marketing, Army Veteran of Viet Nam. A member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and Gold Canyon Lion’s Club.
Preceded in death by his father Edman Hoyle, brother Bobby G. Hoyle, mother Mary I. Stratton Phipps, and stepfather James A. Phipps. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Barbara J. Mathews Hoyle; son, Kevin Matthew Hoyle (Jen) of Gilbert, AZ; and daughter, Caryn Elizabeth Butler (Deric) of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, Alexander D. and Zachary Butler; and granddaughter, Reagan Charlotte Hoyle, numerous nephews and nieces and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held January 15, 2022, 11:00 AM at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 1130 E. Broadway Avenue (PO Box 5307), Apache Junction, AZ 85178, phone: 480-982-1268. The Reverend Larry Eaken will officiate. The service will be livestreamed and on YouTube. Information will follow.
