Hello I do not know if you will remember me but I was Charlie's bridge partner at Alfred University. Those days I was kind of lost but Charlie and Josie took me under their wing and I will always be grateful for the love and balance they shared with me. I even was invited to attend their wedding which was informal and out in the Alfred countryside- I remember helping to peel off the dollar bills someone used to wrap a present. I have often thought with the greatest fondness about Charlie and Josie and they will always be part of my happiest memories during a time in my life when I needed friends the most. I gather from the photos that Charlie got sick but there was always that ever-present smile on both faces, just as I remember them. I really did think of Charlie and Josie a lot during my life and I always hoped to see them in  person again one day. I guess that cannot happen now but if memories and grateful love and appreciation are timeless then Charlie and Josie will always live on as a part of me.
