

Clara May “Sue” Webber was born on October 5, 1942, in Cushing, Oklahoma, and passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Kelley “Gene” Webber; her sons, Wayne Barkus and Paul Virgason; her parents, John and Clara Satterlee; and her younger sisters, Joan Satterlee and Charlotte Nichols. Sue is survived by her children, Donna Rozell and Greg Barkus; her grandchildren, Brandie Mustain, Gatlin Barkus, Breann Schoon, Zack Rozell, Jennifer Painton, and Jason Barkus, along with 13 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Donald Satterlee and Barbara Hill; and many extended family members who will cherish her memory.
Sue lived a full and eventful life, including spending four memorable years in Athens, Greece with her husband who served in the Air Force. Sue’s career as a cosmetologist in Arizona extended over 40 years. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her strong and spirited personality, and her appreciation for life’s simple joys—especially watching her favorite John Wayne movies and Sunday brunch after attending church with her niece Lori Satterlee.
To Jennifer and Jason, she was more than a grandmother. Circumstances lead to her raising them from a very young age. In her final years, she faced Alzheimer’s with strength and grace. Her family is especially grateful for the compassionate care provided by Kenny and Jennifer Painton during this time.
Her family takes solace in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her. She will be deeply loved and forever remembered.
