Claus Dieter Hildesheim age 83, of Florence, Arizona was born June 22, 1940, in Berlin, Germany. We are deeply saddened to report he was called to his forever home on March 24, 2024, suddenly, but peacefully.
Survived by brothers Uwe (Carrie) and Holger Hildesheim; sons Marc and Sean (Mandy Wienke); grandchildren Zachariah, Tyler, Madeline, and Lindsey; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Claus was preceded in death by his brother Olaf, parents Ernst and Eleanore, sister Krista, brothers Horst and Hans, and his loving wife of 52 years, Sandy.
A man who never sat still, Claus was known to work in realty, homebuilding, airlines, perhaps most known in his time working with the top chocolatiers across the world, and of course, being Opa to the grandchildren and caretaking for his wife as they enjoyed their final years together.
Claus had asked to have no fuss, no services, and no gatherings. Those wishing to respect his requests are welcome to come together at a future time in the honor of family.
