Was a founder of an online community, 1401 people joined his group and we will all remember him fondly. His banter was always top notch, he was ever positive and a pleasure to converse with. His love for poker was evident and we all played with him daily. 

He will be sorely missed by his digital comrades.

Truly a loss. Tho we never met in person, I could just tell what an amazing man you really are. I had some amazing nights with you just firing off jokes over poker. In Loving Memory of Clinte David
It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to a dear friend and colleague, Clinte David. His kindness, dedication, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
The memory of Clinte will remain in our hearts, and his contributions Algorand community will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered for the warmth, generosity, and friendship he shared.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.

We almost had a bet on USA finishing top of the group in the ongoing world cup, I backed down when I saw their opponents and we both laughed about it. I didn't know our football chat would be the last time we'd laugh together. 

I was hoping to troll him on monday for failing to reply my messages and not posting our Monday poker game (cos he never disappointed), but God already took him. I'll miss my American brother, I was almost sure I would meet with him someday. It will be in heaven then.

The world has lost one of its shining lights and we are all diminished as a result. Clint was a paradigm of kindness, always concerned about others. He was a loving man whose generosity knew no bounds. He was a skilled man who took enormous pride in his work, but nothing made him prouder than his children. Of Clint I can honestly say that to know him, was to love him. God bless and rest in peace

I wanted to leave a memory here for Clint, better known to many of us as Tap.

Tap was one of the kindest and most generous people in the Algorand community. Anytime he dropped by one of my communities, I’d immediately drop the “Just tap it in” Happy Gilmore GIF. It became a little tradition that always made me smile.

As we all know, Tap touched many lives through the ebbs and flows of the real world. But I truly believe he touched just as many through his consistent presence and good spirit within the Algorand Web3 community.

He was always showing up, supporting others, participating in communities, and helping make them feel a little more alive. Over the years, he became a familiar and welcome presence across so many corners of Algorand.

I’ll especially miss seeing him in BLOP Trivia, where his knowledge always made him a tough competitor, and all the WOMP poker tournament nights that so many of us shared together over the years.

He will be greatly missed by our community.

Thanks for keep my spirits up during tough times and helping me fulfil a dream. You were a real one and it was my pleasure to call you a mate from the other side of the pond!

I knew Clint as Tapforme on the Algorand Discord servers. Although we never had the chance to meet in person, he always treated me with kindness, respect, and patience, and helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life. He showed me friendship when others showed hate, and compassion when others tried to bring me down.

I often found myself wondering how wonderful he must have been in person, and how fortunate his friends and family are to have had someone like him in their lives.

Clint loved his family deeply, especially his children. We would often tease him about how many kids he had, but in truth, we were happy knowing they had such a loving and devoted father.

While we are deeply saddened by his loss, we also celebrate his life and remain grateful for the time we shared with him. His kindness, strength, and compassion left a lasting mark on those who knew him.

We wish peace to his family and pray for strength, comfort, and patience in the days ahead.

I am so proud of Jacob Seibel for writing this heartfelt obituary. 
Clint use to tell our mom that he was going to become a famous writer & buy her mansion. Maybe Jake will do it instead.

I'd like to offer my condolences. It can't be easy what you're going through, but the Bible has many verses that can comfort you. And this doesn't surprise us: “For all the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction,f so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope”. (Romans 15:4).
Look at the encouraging words the Bible gives us: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted;
He saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the hardships of the righteous one,
But Jehovah rescues him from them all”. (Psalms 34:18,19).
God is with us especially when we are sad and encourages us through his Word.
