Colby was a fantastic man, a wonderful, loving and caring husband. He always knew how to make me smile and laugh. Our marriage was strong and wonderful and I will always love him.
A month after his passing our 13 year old cat Tammy joined her daddy. I know they are both happy and having a good time in heaven and one day I'll join them when our loving God says so.

Dad loved making people smile or laugh. When I was in high school I remember working with him at his camper shell business in Oregon and whenever anyone would come in he'd have them smiling or laughing in a matter of minutes. It didn't matter who it was or why they were there. 
One of his favorite running jokes with me was when he would call me on the phone and when I'd answer saying hello he would say "Well you're looking good". I'll never forget the first time he called and I had caller ID, I answered with "Well you're looking good" and he just started laughing and called me a turkey. From that moment forward we always tried to beat each other to the punch with that.
You're looking good dad, love you and miss you.

Uncle Colby could lighten up any moment - and every moment was more fun with him around. He had a depth and dignity and integrity I admired very much. He was one of the most genuine people I've ever known, and I will miss him even though it's been a long time since I got to see his contagious smile or feel one of his strong, loving hugs. My heart goes out to Aunt Kitty and my arms are around her across the miles. Peace to you, too, cousins - Kenny so good to see your name! Hugs, Jon.

I have fond memories of Uncle Colby's warmth and humor. I will miss him.

I shall miss our frequent phone calls. He always got me laughing before our call ended, It was great being his sister. Norma

I have great memories of my Uncle Colby.  When we had our biannual family reunions in Maine when I was young I always wanted to ride to the coast for lobster with him.  It was always a fun time.  He reminds me of my current husband in that he loved to talk with people and always had a good story to tell. May his soul rest in peace.

Even tho my time with him was short, in years.. I remember him as fun and always laughing... smiles from ear to ear. He He was a step-father who manned-up who filled in the gap, he what was what I needed during that time in my life. Best of all he brought me my little brother and bestest friend. Again I say I hope he heard me say I love you more than once.
