Dagmar, 59, the deeply loved mother and friend of her son Milos, lost her life to Leukemia on June 8, 2011, in Mesa, AZ. She was a brave and wonderful woman who could always make you laugh, especially when you didn’t want to. She could make beautiful flowers grow where the soil appeared impossible to cultivate. She would always be quick to invite you into her home and would be excited to cook a wonderful traditional meal that couldn’t be matched. Dagmar was born in Czechoslovakia and moved to the U.S. to bring her son to a country with hope and opportunity. She is survived by her mother, three younger brothers, sister, son, and unborn granddaughter, Adelyn. She will be profoundly missed and always remembered.
