She was born in Greensboro, NC on November 5, 1940, to Joe and Daisy (Truvale) Garris.
Daisy worked as a member of the hospital staff for St Francis Hospital for over 20+ years.
She was member of Key to Faith Ministries and had a passion for praying, baking, and being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Grice-Walker; niece Antoinette Miller-Irons; granddaughter Rochelle Lanphear; great grandson Derrick M. Jackson; and many friends that she made at Medina House.
