Dan is survived by his wife Earlene of 26 years, children Dan (Patti), Beth, Kim (Kent), Matt and Kelly, sister Sally, sister-in-law Carol (Ray), and grandchildren Ashleigh, Erik, Julie and Grayson.
A funny guy who was always the life of the party, Dan also loved bridge and baseball. He organized one of the largest chess clubs in the state of Michigan and two rotisserie baseball leagues.
A special thank-you to hospice, who allowed him to spend his last months at home watching baseball under Earlene’s loving care.
Memorial donations may be made to either a hospice of your choice, the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
